Square Lifestyle by palobo Square Lifestyle by palobo
This is a setup I'm using with my current desktop. Since I like it and it's rather soothing I decided to share.

Hope somebody finds it useful.

Credits
Inspiration comes from weakhead's excelent Lifestyle Suite.

Included
- QtCurve config
- Color scheme.

Currently I'm only using the Sky - Dark variant, but if more people are interested I can work on porting the other variants.

Critique
As always, all critiques, comments an suggestions for improvement are most welcome.

Hope you enjoy it.

Cheers,
PL

This is amazing. You had done a great job. It made my Linux box more attractive. I like it so much.
Your Plasma theme looks good. What's it?

Hi, I'm glad you like it. Unfortunately I haven't had this setup for quite some time now and therefore can't recall which Plasma theme I was using at the time.

One of the nicest KDE4 desktops I've seen. What plasma theme are you using?

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. Unfortunately I can't really help you since this is a rather old setup to which I no longer have access, or KDE for that matter :(

Nice. Would it be possible to make the orange variant as well? Or just tell me which colours should I change.

Sorry mate. I'd love to help you out, but KDE is messed up on my PC for a while now.

I'll try and see if I can fix it (miss KDE but have been to busy to tinker and figure out what's wrong) and mod the theme.

This looks like a really good, clean, and simple theme. It also look great with Faenza icons. I think I might actually use it sometime.

What's funny is, I actually just switched to it a couple of days ago! But I don't upload screenshots to dA anymore, because I like to use dA for art I actually did.

I agree, it is quite easy on the eyes, though, I have to admit that I didn't use it as-is for very long. All I did though is add a very-very, slight curve on the corners, because I wanted it to match Faenza just a bit better.

Nice, I like clean & simple styles/themes. You can create a unique window decoration (with emerald for example) or modify an existing one for your style to stand out more.

Keep up the good work & good luck :)

Thanks my friend for your kind words. I will be looking into creating a window theme, maybe with aurorae or something similar. I'll have to see which is easier to work with. (Still haven't gotten the hang of plasma theming, but as soon as I do I'll post one too)

Cheers,
PL
